Ross Hammock Ranch Guidelines

At Ross Hammock Ranch, we are committed to providing a safe, ethical, and enjoyable hunting experience while preserving our land and wildlife for future generations. All hunters are required to adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a world-class experience for everyone.

Your Reservation: As per the confirmation letter or invoice, check-in is between noon and 1:00 p.m. Check-out is 11:00 a.m. on the final day in camp. We accept checks, cash (U.S. dollars only) or approved credit cards. A convenience fee will be applied to the final bill if paying with a credit card. The fee is 3%.

Hunting Price List: This is a general guide to prices. Not all species are listed. In addition, some animals may be offered at a lower price or higher price than what is listed. All prices will be quoted by your guide in the field. Please do not shoot anything unless your guide quotes the price first.

Wounded Game Definition: Your first stop is the shooting range, where your guide will ask you to shoot your weapon to make sure it is properly sighted in. We consider an animal wounded if you hit it in the horn, tail, gut, or if we find blood, meat, hair or see/hear that it has been hit. The wounded game is charged at full trophy price. Every effort will be made by your guide to find your animal. / An animal is deemed taken/harvested when a hunter draws blood. It is our intent to do everything possible to recover any and all wounded animals. Drawn blood will result in the trophy fee being charged in full, whether the animal is recovered or not, and it is up to your guide to call the hunt when they feel they have exhausted all of their resources.
